As a pro-life American, I urge you to oppose the nominations of Cornelia Pillard, Robert Wilkins, and Patricia Millett, to the D.C. Court of Appeals.
The words of the Constitution repeatedly protect against “taking life without due process of law.”
Nowhere does the Constitution protect abortion.
Nevertheless in 1973 activist judges on the Supreme Court invented a so-called "right" to privacy which judicially legalized unlimited abortion-on-demand.
Since taking office, President Obama has consistently sought to pack the judicial branch with activist judges who support this invented “right” in order to push an abortion-on-demand agenda.
Now the President wants to sneak these three through onto the court before anyone has a chance to stop them.
Pillard in particular not only supports taxpayer funded abortion, but sees opposition to it as “discriminatory towards women” and has stated in the past that abortion-on-demand is more than a right; it’s a “necessity.”
President Obama’s record of judicial nominees is clear; he wants to pack the court in his image, with radical activists.
For all these reasons, I urge you to oppose President Obama’s radical court packing scheme, and to vote against and to filibuster if necessary the nomination of Cornelia Pillard, Robert Wilkins, and Patricia Millett to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
